Dave came to sort out our log burner that was smoking when we lit it. He quickly identified that it hadn't been installed properly (not us, previous owners!). Anyhow, he gave us all the advice we needed to put things right and potentially saved us from a chimney fire or worse.... Highly recommended.

I had a fantastic service from Dave at Sappersweeps. He called me a few hours after I made an initial enquiry by text (not something that happens too often these days) and within a week I’d had two chimneys swept. He’s clearly very experienced, as well as being really knowledgeable and efficient. He gave me advice on the log burner itself, the potential cause of some damp patches appearing on the chimney breast (which I will investigate further) and left everything clean, neat and tidy – no mess and no marks anywhere! He is very reasonably priced too. I’m booking him in every year, he’s excellent!
